Telemarketing campaign – 2014/15

Important update – November 14th, 2014

The Nova Scotia Ground Search and Rescue Association (NSGSARA) has contracted a marketing firm to conduct a telephone fundraising campaign in Nova Scotia. Funds from this campaign do not directly support search and rescue operations within the province but will be used to provide for future Association meetings and related activities.

Halifax Regional Search and Rescue (HRSAR) does not support or participate in telephone solicitations.  However, if you would like to make a tax-deductible charitable donation directly to the team, you can do so by clicking on the ’Donate’ button above (97% goes to the team); or, by sending a cheque (100% goes to the team), made out to ‘Halifax Regional Search and Rescue Team’, to the following address:

116 Lakeview Road, Lakeview, NS, B4C 4C7

Donating in this way ensures that your donation goes directly towards the volunteer efforts of HRSAR. If you have any questions or concerns about the telemarketing campaign, or any of the language used to promote Search and Rescue in the province, please contact our team at email hidden; JavaScript is required.
